Worry- a way of thinking. Imagining the worst. Fast thinking. What if…? Fears. Phobias. Deadlines. Hurry. No time. Caught in ones’ own imagination. Doubt. Wanting. Why? How?

From Worry to Confidence:

=Make your mind your best friend – Teach the mind to think in a positive way.

=Anticipate things going right, e.g. instead of thinking: I am going to miss the plane, think: I will be there on time and it will be a smooth flight.

=Accept situations and find the blessing in them, e.g. I am stuck in a traffic jam. Worrying wont get me anywhere faster just flustered; instead see it as time for you –for reflection- and arrive at your destination calmer and with a clear head.

=Problems to challenges –  Train your mind to see any difficulty as an opportunity.

=Be kind to your mind – Every time you have a negative thought change it into a more positive one. Give your mind direction.

=Less haste, more speed – When we rush we worry; we are thinking about what we need to do next and not what we are doing now. Focus on what you have to do now. Think and do, then we are able to do much more the question “What if I can’t do it?” does not even arise.

=Create mind-breaks – Relax your mind (thoughts). Relaxed, we are able to think more clearly, understand ourselves better and make the right decisions.

=Mind your own business – Send good wishes to others instead of going into imaginative thoughts about what they might be thinking and doing.

=Focus on what you want – Maybe you want to feel more energetic and alive; instead of thinking “why am I lazy?” think of a time in your life where you were full of energy and enthusiastic. Whatever we focus on we reinforce – focus on the solution and not the problem.

=Challenge a fear – When we overcome any fear – when a fear is removed – we are able to face that situation and conquer. The state of being free from fear removes all worries from our lives.

Formula: think less, think slowly and think positively. Then you will be able to understand your thoughts and make them practical.
