There are five laws operating in this physical universe: physical, mental, emotional, material and spiritual.
Obedient: this word has many negative connotations, it actually means to be completely awake to ones conscience. When we disobey our conscience we are lead down a path that eventually leads us to experience of punishment. Whilst travelling down this path we become emptier and emptier and we look for ways to fill this emptiness.
Searching and finding versus emerging and experiencing. Searching-finding: we are looking outside of our self. Emerging-experiencing: we turn within and emerge that that is within us, all that is good and divine, and experience it. Experience replaces searching, emerging replaces finding.
Our self respect depends on our self esteem and values and worth. We increase our self respect by accumulating acts of selfless charity/actions.
Our thoughts themselves are not a problem it is all the past painful associations etc that are attached to/ come with that thought that make it into a problem. To heal past pains we need to let them go, hand them over. We try to manage them with our intellects, but past pains don’t need to be managed but let go of. If we hand them over to Divinity, divinity purifies and this allows that energy to be released giving us a clean slate. We can now fill that space with good things.
Painful experiences create our current memory tract and even though we may no longer remember the event we have the ‘reaction’. Our memory tracts are very reactive.
Salvation is the fulfilment of the present, when we are doing the right thing we automatically experience happiness.
When we become empty needs are generated and then these grow into wants and then desires. If our desires are fulfilled they trap us, if not disappointed. Either way with desires we experience suffering.
Relationships with self, others and God.
Peace (relationship with myself) plus Love (relationship with God/goodness) = Happiness (relationships with others). Happiness in relationships with others is only possible when we are full and we need nothing from each other and so are free to just share peace and love with each other.
