Fun Factor 2

How do I inject lightness into my life?
Seriousness holds me back. I am more creative when I am relaxed. I take my work seriously but have fun doing it.

Do you love what you do? If not, why?
– Spend more time doing the things that you like and less time doing the things you don’t.
– Watch the company you keep. Some people suck the fun out of life. Spend as little time with them as possible.
– Don’t be afraid to say no to other people’s idea of fun if it’s not yours. We can compromise, but not all the time.
– Don’t be afraid of stretching yourself. Coming out of our comfort zone is exciting.
– Don’t bite off more that you can chew.
– Have a go – put ideas into action. Regrets are for the things you didn’t do.
– Talk to yourself and live your dreams.
– Take a step back to see the bigger picture. ‘I detached myself from the role I am playing, I am not the role. It’s a game. I have a part to play’.
– Try to see the funny side or bright side of life – internally for yourself.
– Have courage.
– Meditation gives you the tools to put these in practice.

Tools
– Stay present. Every minutes counts. Life is too short to wait to have fun – absorb it, feel it, look at it.
– Enjoy the task, do your best and it will come back to you.
– Value yourself. The value of a diamond can not remain hidden – it’s a universal law.
– Have pure motives.
– I don’t need to prove myself, have that internal strength.
– Let go, forgive – if not we can’t move on.
– Don’t carry anything negative around with you for long, it makes you heavy and serious.
– Be yourself. You can only not be yourself for so long.
– We are naturally happy beings – no one wants to be heavy.
– Have patience – enjoy the journey and stay present.
