The transformation from force to power becomes truly transformational when invite God’s help.
First we need to become aware of the inner being we are- when our awareness is lit we shine. You see this in people’s eyes… some shine, some are dull. All of us are such beings of light.
Then out of us all there is the One who is of absolute peace, love, bliss and truth. He is the the all-powerful One. Not in the way human minds have projected (as we work) making Him judging and ready to strike us down. We have projected our idea of force -seeing it as our only way to survive- onto God. It is a natural progression to think that God must use force too. His power is the power of love and truth, He is almighty in these. He is a being of truth and love.
If we can relate to this One it makes all the difference. How do we open our hearts? By working on ourselves? It happens easily when we connect to the One above. There is an experience of such love that our hearts open naturally and all barriers melt.
The Golden Rule: let me do onto others only as I would like done onto me.
Don’t ask, ‘How do I stop? Rather ask, ‘How do I start?‘
Don’t think, ‘I have to break my old patterns.’ Instead think, ‘Let me create new ones.’
First create a positive feeling inside using your thoughts. Concentrate on what you want to experience: peace, love, happiness, truth, etc. Create an image of this for yourself in your mind and let the feeling grow.
When we give the ‘best’ to ourselves in this way do we discover the best of ourselves and have it to give to others.
