Physical energy
Five types of energy input are needed by our bodies, the quality of these energies is significant though on our overall well-being.
1. Food – what, how and when we eat all important.
2. Exercise – my motivation and where my mind is when exercising are important.
3. Sleep – before sleeping making peace with and letting go of the day are important.
4. Oxygenation – correct breathing is important.
5. Environment – the physical space we live in and our attitude towards it are important.
Mental energy
The source of mental energy is our thoughts. It is estimated that on average we generate 36,000 thoughts per day. This is how much we use our mental energy! Who wouldn’t be tired. To save mental energy think more calmly. Have you noticed that when we think calmly we think more slowly and so generate less thoughts?
There is a connection between thoughts-feelings-actions. See how the more you think a thought the more you generate those feeling. Test how you feel when you follow a negative and then a positive line of thinking.
Then there is the thoughts-time-breathe connection. Have you noticed how the way you breathe changes speed with the type of thoughts you are thinking? Observe how you breathe when calm versus when you are angry? The link with time? We can use our breathe to calm us down and so ‘gain’ time. Do you not find you have more time and use it more productively when you are calm as opposed to angry?
The third connection is: thoughts-vibrations-atmosphere. Thoughts are subtle energy and generate ‘vibrations’ which create the atmosphere around us. Notice how you get different vibes from people. Observe how you want to avoid ‘x’ but just click with ‘y’. Why is this? We are picking up their vibrations (thoughts). If we ‘click’ probably we are thinking the same thing. Collectively we generate the atmosphere of the room, have you ever gone somewhere for the atmosphere?
Spiritual energy
Spiritual energy is the purest and royalist energy there is. It comes from within us and is called soul, atma, raki, prana, chi etc. Its’ form is of a point of light and by itself it is a totally peaceful energy. It is a thinking energy and it acts through the body. In its purest form it is peaceful, loving and wise. It carries all our memories, feelings and emotions. Have you ever noticed how we can be angry and love peace or be jealous and loving at the same time?
How can we to tap back into it?
a) Meditation, here we are hitting the pause button. See yourself as detached from body. Allow yourself to sense the stillness of body and quietness of the mind. Meditation is about going back to your core, from the chaos outside to the peace inside.
b) There is one spiritual energy that is higher than us- the Supreme Energy, God. This One does not come into a body as we do and so remains totally and completely positive and is never influenced by negativity. God is the ocean of love, which is why prayer works. On our part we need faith and courage then He can help us.
c) Put the horse back before the cart- I am a spiritual energy and use mental energy that empowers my physical body to act.
