Challenges

Challenges are a gift, they are opportunities to get to know yourself and to express the best of you.

Life is full of challenges, in fact if we expect a smooth journey we will only be disappointed and struggle all the more with the challenges that come our way. Accept life as it is, it isn’t about not being challenged but how you deal with them.

Once you accept a challenge and make it your own you find that you have wonderful experiences.

A challenge requires a response
Meeting challenges are less confusing when we have answers to questions like: ‘Who am I?’ and ‘What are my inner values?’ There is never a best way to handle a challenge, a specific roadmap. Each is individual and requires its own response. Having answers to these questions gives you answers to how to respond. The more I know who ‘I am’ the clearer it will be to me how best to respond rather rather than find myself just reacting/running/avoiding. To find a positive response saves us much heartache. When we react negatively we can actually destroy relationships etc. Create some time and space to be with yourself to mull over such questions as these.

Challenges are chances to delve deep within, discover and put into play your inner qualities and strengths.

Also when we respond based on our inner values and using our inner qualities and strengths situations become win-win ones. When we respond with the values of peace, love and courage we respond in a ‘rightfully’ way, when we react we find ourselves in a tug of war. If we fight against our ‘health’, for example, we make it even worse. If we deal with it with courage and patience we find that we improve the situation. Don’t get carried away in the emotional reaction, we need to deal with and work with it and then to respond with wisdom and realism, from the head and the heart.

See yourself coming out of the challenge you are in successfully. Reflect on former challenges and how you have grown/changed/matured as a result of them. This current challenge- something good will come out of it.

Listen to others stories of triumph and courage, be inspired by them. Then in turn we can share our experiences with we can ease it for others.

See life as an unlimited drama and all as playing their respective roles. Just focus on your part and play it the best you can. Then let others play their part. See life as a drama and cease the opportunity to express the best of you in the roles and parts you play now however small. Others will see you talent…

Approach every challenge positively – teach your mind to think positively. Our own positive thoughts and perspective can change a situation. It allows the impossible to become possible; the most difficult situation to become manageable and turns mountains into molehills. Life situations change, let the past be past, let my feeling remain clean and pure, let me remain myself and let me not create feelings of hatred or closure in my heart. We are all beings of love and the more we give love the more we increase it.

Meditation helps one to see clearly and so how to respond rightfully. In meditation allow the situation to just be as it is, don’t fight with it or try to break it. Any situation is like a big rock on your road, let it be there and go into silence (let the chatter quieten down) … this allows you to find a way around and over it, to see other options. The answers to every situation are there within you. Never give up, take the opportunity to go into silence and listen to voice within. The answers are there.

Challenges are opportunities:

  • to increase my courage, peace and strength;
  • to experiment with own inner values;
  • to cultivate and grow my faith, peace and love;
  • to express my own inner beauty and spirituality;
  • to find my own unlimited inner wisdom;
  • to go deep within to find and share the treasure within;
  • to see how to use my values in a practical way and to make a situation a better one.

Also every challenge is also an opportunity to come closer to God.
God is there and He will give me the strength and courage needed when I lack it to overcome any challenge. When I take one step of courage God takes a 1000 towards me. Then as my faith in God grows deeper I develop a relationship that is eternal and that carries me through all challenges (difficulties).
