When I have expectations in my mind and they aren’t met I experience -create feelings of- disappointment and this leads to getting moody and not being ‘present’ in a relationship.
Emotions are like heavy clouds.
We need to define and contextualise these clouds as when we do this we can completely disempower them.
These clouds are not you. It’s very sunny above those clouds.
Become aware of how you can change your emotional situation. It all starts in thoughts.
First create a positive attitude towards yourself.
Start working with yourself to break that cycle of thinking.
Stand back: speak to yourself; “How can I break this”?
Observe the situation and your feelings.
Accept what is happening and all those feelings. Give value to yourself, your time and feelings.
Take responsibility. “Let me understand this. Why am I allowing this to happen to myself”? This is the empowering step.
Just by reflecting on what’s happening in your mind, you come to see that you have got your own compass and that you are guiding your own journey. Then you will be willing to start changing your own destiny.
Go into that quiet space and create a relationship with yourself and with the Divine.
When we are open and honest we can develop the habit of taking responsibility. Then, there is a shift in your emotions towards life because you are true to yourself. Work with a special awareness of yourself: see yourself in the spiritual perspective as this frees you emotionally. Soul consciousness is to see myself from the highest perspective, to look after my inner self and to choose to interact from that inner space.
It is only my own inner world that I can take care of. This will then be what I am going to share with others and what will influence them. The trick is not to hold on to your or others’ negativity. I am non-physical and the whole world is inside me. Bring it out.
When your old ways of reacting kick in, say to yourself “I don’t want to buy into those old games any more”. Be aware of your own principles.
