Positivity: benevolent, completely giving, doesn’t hurt anyone, just allows and accepts.
Key qualities of positive impact:
– Self sustaining.
– Not dependent on situations/people.
– I have reached my full potential.
– I have such a beautiful relationship with myself and everything around me that I am able to transform all the negativity that is inside into positivity.
– I am full of all virtues, this is tied up with happiness, peace and love.
How much of a positive impact do you want to make for yourself and in your life?
Reflect on the key qualities: Train yourself to come back to your most positive part because experiencing something, tasting something, gives you the will power to do it.
To keep on going on this journey I need:
– love for positivity and life, and the desire to do very best I can for myself.
– patience and the courage to keep on facing all those little, old thought patterns.
What’s happening in your thoughts?
Your mind is like a garden. This is where you will take your sustenance from. Whatever you choose to grow becomes your fragrance. Whatever I am going to hold onto in my mind is going to effect me. Do you put your mind into pure love and divinity? Do you want to become a living rose?
With meditation:
– It brings light, pure energy, wisdom and understanding about yourself. This makes you bloom, you take root and begin to grow and bring out the potential that you already have inside.
– your eye of wisdom opens up. When we get ourselves into negativity/useless things our conscience bites because our intellect sees the truth.
– Situations completely change in my mind. I see a person in need rather than an angry one.
What am I here to give? What positive impact can I make?
– The more I am connected with the Source of Truth and just be the more I automatically give. Let that Source do the work, this is possible when I let go of the old thoughts and habits.
– See the limitations but do not set limitations on your potential. In life there is always an opportunity go deeper into yourself and bring more of your inner qualities to life.
– Listen: ‘What am I saying to myself in any situation? Is it helpful or hindering?’ If hindering, I need to change it.
– Watch your mind: ‘What memories am I recalling? What future am I imagining right now? Are they helpful or hindering memories?’
– We are constantly creating our future. Let go of the past by learning from it then you won’t need to keep going back to it.
– Recognise your own value to have such a high appreciation of yourself, just because of who you are.
– Have courage. Every single step of any change uses courage. It might be just seeing the best in someone. Stop giving yourself a hard time. Have this positive attitude constantly to create change in you.
– Realise that it is a step by step journey from a state of being influenced to one of making a positive impact. At first, in a situation I might feel guilty, then irritated. In time, as I get confident in myself and not feel guilty because of situations, I can see myself separately from the event and say ‘it is their life’. Then I can transform my responses with the feeling of empathy.
What if I get disheartened?
Disheartenment comes when things affected you but you didn’t face them and didn’t deal with them. This can lead to blame, etc.
Recognise: Why am I disheartened? Did I want respect or recognition? What do I need to give to myself? I need to start respecting myself, taking ownership of these emotions.
When I respect my inner world, inner energy, then I am in a much better position to resolve the situation with a positive impact.
Our attitudes are created by beliefs, beliefs are created by thoughts. Through our attitude we can change our vision, through our vision we change the world.
Look at yourself: ‘What do I need to practise today?’
