Law of attraction also states being able to act with positivity by having a connection with the self.
To attain what we truly want:
1) We need clarity (see part one). When I have my aim I will see the way.
2) We need faith in our self i.e. an awareness of our own positive identity and ability.
3) We need to bring our thoughts, words and actions in tune with our dream.
Faith in one’s self
This begins with asking: Who am I? Who you are is primary and what you do is secondary. You have an abundance of treasures within you that are just sitting there waiting to be found, experienced and shared with others. Connecting to your eternal self – this is the most important thing that you can do in this life.
Raja Yoga meditation is a meditation technique which aims to bring us into an awareness of all the treasures that are there deep within us. It then teaches us how to emerge these treasures, then in a natural and automatic way we share them with others.
Bringing thoughts, words, feelings and actions in tune with my dream.
Possible? When negative emotions come they come like a sledge-hammer and we see their impact on us immediately. When positive feelings come they are more subtle and transient, they seem to come and go. We find that, for example, we experience a positive feeling when we have a bar of chocolate, go to the beach, etc. but how long does that feeling last for? To then experience them again we have to re-create that same experience, we need that same external fix and we unknowingly create an addiction.
So is it possible to actually create and sustain positive feelings?
Is lasting peace, love and happiness possible? Experiment with planting the seeds of pure thoughts in your mind and sustaining them with some tender loving care. Then step back and see how they take on their own energy and grow. This is meditation.
There is a whole new field of research appearing in this area called positive psychology. On pooling the research done in in this area to date it was found that the one proven method of creating and sustaining positive feelings is mediation.
Raja Yoga meditation is a particular mediation technique that teaches us how to generate and sustain pure and powerful feelings. These feelings are real (lasting) ones not artificial (transient) ones, because they are connected to discovering and experiencing our own inner treasures.
How does one stay positive when surrounded by negative people?
Create a firewall around yourself. In the morning, before you begin your day, make time for yourself to create the right awareness or consciousness for yourself. Strengthen and feed your mind with positive ideas in this time and prepare for the day ahead. Then go into your day carrying this inner positivity with you. This is your protection, doing this creates an aura of protection around you.
Consider how when someone is in an off-mood how quickly you pick up on that, this is the same. If I feel abundant and generous within it is these vibrations that I give out and that surround me.
So, now when people around you are being negative just remind yourself of how you began your day. The more you do this the more you will find that those vibrations from you begin to influence those around you and change the atmosphere. The proof will be in the change in the quality of your conversations with people.
