“Sit back and watch the clouds of worries pass by… just let it all drift by…and simply be aware of the blue sky….”
Here’s a tip if you’re a highly worried person or even an occasional worrier:
1. Postpone your worrying to an allocated worry time. Set a time limit for your worry time. If you find yourself worrying at any other time, say to yourself, “not now, I’ll do it later.”
2. In your “worry time,” tackle your worries effectively. What am I anticipating? Can I do something about it? If there is something you can do, then do it and stop worrying!
3. If you can’t do anything about it, then remind yourself that you’ll find a way to handle things when they happen.
