Professor Kim Cunio is Head of the New Zealand School of Music and a previous Head of Music at the Australian National University. He is a researcher, composer and performer, who specialises in traditional music, anthropology and acoustic ecology. He has scored for opera, theatre, orchestra, as well as for television and screen.
