Belief and Truth: What’s the difference?

…and why it matters.

Whenever you are in an argument, what you believe is true is usually just that …a belief!  Whenever you look back and call on evidence from the past in the form of memory, it’s usually just a belief masquerading as truth.  But does the truth ever masquerade as a belief?  What is the truth anyway?  We talk of achievement based on self-belief, does that mean there is self-truth?

Tonight, Mike takes you down the rabbit-hole as he explores:

  •  Why does it matter if belief masquerades as truth
  •  What is ‘truth’ anyway, isn’t it all relative
  •  Why belief makes you lazy
  •  Do you have to believe before you know what is true
