When You’re Upset

When you’re upset with someone, you give up your peace of mind and you’re less likely to effectively handle the situation.

Instead of staying upset, 1) distance yourself from the upset and 2) accept that you are responsible for your feelings. And eventually your feelings will pass, and then you can explore a) what’s really underlying your upset and b) how to handle the situation.
