Thinking about what to eat or cook is normal. But if you’re thinking about it all the time, or more often than not, then, ask yourself: Are my eating habits too restrictive? Am I meeting my energy needs? Should I daily make time to decide what to eat or cook?
If you want to spend less time thinking about food, then, next time a food-oriented thought arises, just let the thought pass by. Or simply think, “I’ve already thought this through, no need to think more on it.” Or shift your mind towards something else. And think about the right things at the right time.
